The AIA Achievers Gala Dinner, held at Sandalford Wines in Perth, was the grand finale of a week-long incentive program hosted by AIA Singapore and delivered in partnership with Singapore-based agency MICE Matters. With nearly 1,400 guests in attendance, the event was designed as a high-energy celebration to reward top performers with a night of entertainment, spectacle and immersive experiences.
Encore was engaged to deliver the full technical production for the event, staged within a custom-built marquee structure located in a largely unused, weather-affected area of the winery grounds. Persistent rain leading into the event resulted in wet grass, mud and challenging ground conditions, combined with significant temperature fluctuations across the day and evening. These conditions added complexity to access, installation, power, rigging and live show execution. Encore’s team endured the conditions and demonstrated resilience, adaptability and professionalism throughout.
The stage design featured an 8-metre central LED wall, flanked by four 1-metre LED pillars, lighting truss towers and two outer 6-metre LED screens. With no in-house infrastructure, Encore supplied and powered all lighting, including house lights, moving heads and colour washes, supported by three generators. Screen content was curated and adapted by Encore to complement performances and align with the client’s brand palette, alongside content supplied by MICE Matters.
The entertainment lineup included Reigan, a Dancing with the Stars–affiliated dance troupe, acrobatics, fire twirling and live music. Encore worked closely with Circus Berserkus to coordinate precise audio and lighting cues. The evening concluded with a surprise drone show finale, with Encore managing outdoor PA and synchronised countdown cues to deliver a flawless close despite ongoing weather concerns.
