A Decade of Excellence Celebrated in Style
To mark its 10th anniversary in Singapore, The Westin hosted a glamorous cocktail and networking event for hundreds of VIP guests overlooking Marina Bay. This milestone also celebrated the hotel’s new partnership with Encore as its in-house event services provider.
Encore designed and produced the entire experience, transforming the grand foyer into an immersive showcase of creativity and technology.
Guests were welcomed by a large, illuminated media wall for photo opportunities before entering a space framed by two dramatic 3x3m LED walls flanking a sleek DJ booth. These displays set the stage for speeches by General Manager James Walkden and Raj Menon, President of APEC Marriott International, as well as live entertainment including a DJ set, a mirror dance performance and a special appearance by local artist Annette Lee.
The event also spotlighted Westin’s signature Heavenly® Beds with a custom activation display positioned against the stunning Marina Bay backdrop. Encore complemented the showcase with LED lighting and interactive elements, including a wellness expert sharing sleep tips.
Adding to the wow factor were two bespoke food installations: a gravity-defying dessert display resembling a modern art installation and sustainable oyster stations with LED lighting and removable trays for repurposing.
The celebrations continued the following evening with a staff-only Dinner & Dance in the ballroom, where Encore repurposed equipment from the gala to create a movie-themed experience complete with balloon popcorn centrepieces and a giant LED screen.
