W Singapore Reimagined: Encore Delivers a Dazzling W PRESENTS Event at WOOBAR

Background & Objectives

Encore partnered with W Singapore – Sentosa Cove to deliver the first edition of W Hotels’ global live music series W PRESENTS in Singapore, “W PRESENTS featuring DJ Pippi Ciez”, marking a new chapter for the property’s identity. The event was held at the newly transformed W Singapore – Sentosa Cove, showcasing the refreshed spaces of the urban island oasis for modern luxury escapes.

The event presented the musical genius of Pippi Ciez, a British DJ and producer known for his high-energy live performances that blend Afro and Organic House beats with live drums and analogue gear.

The event was attended by senior hotel leadership, including the W Singapore’s senior management, Marriott International corporate representatives, members of the public, and hotel guests.

 

Technical Production & Event Design

Encore worked closely with W Singapore – Sentosa Cove and suppliers to create an immersive club-like experience. Key technical and design elements included:

  • Lighting: Stunning Astera tubes arranged in creative formations on pedestals, gobo moving lights projecting water-inspired patterns, and wash/profile lights on self-standing trusses, all reflecting the hotel’s underwater theme.
  • Sound: Precision audio was delivered via Syva mobile speakers which were deployed to deliver club-level audio, to elevate the venue’s ceiling speakers.
  • Custom Features: A bespoke ‘W’ circle signage was fabricated for the DJ booth, enhancing brand presence. This was complemented with accompanying Astera Tube clusters.

 

Guest Experience

Guests were welcomed through exclusive draped entrances, setting the tone for a high-energy  atmosphere. The event featured headline DJs performances, dynamic lighting, and immersive sound, creating a memorable journey from arrival to the dance floor.
