Hilti Australia National Conference and Power Up Launch

Venue: Western Sydney Convention Centre

When Hilti Australia brought its teams together for a national conference and product launch, the objective was clear: unite employees from across the country, showcase new products in a live demonstration environment, and deliver an experience that reflected the scale and ambition of the brand.

Encore partnered with Hilti to deliver an end to end event solution, managing production, design, logistics coordination and on site delivery for a complex, multi day program across both indoor and outdoor environments at the Western Sydney Convention Centre.

A multi-layered national event

The event unfolded across several days, with two full days of build followed by an employee conference day and a customer engagement day. Approximately 400 attendees travelled from across Australia, including account managers, sales teams and key personnel, with interstate delegates supported through coordinated accommodation and transport logistics delivered in partnership with ATPI Travel.

Encore created a custom event website to centralise registration, event information and agendas, seamlessly connecting delegates to travel arrangements and ensuring a smooth experience from confirmation through arrival.

On site, the experience was carefully zoned to support both presentation and participation. Inside, the plenary space featured a refined setup using illuminated backdrops, Astera tube lighting and vehicle reveals that showcased Hilti branded sales vehicles as part of the product story. Outside, eight marquees of varying sizes were installed to create a large scale demonstration precinct, supported by branded perimeter fencing, wayfinding signage, generators and power distribution.

Brand expression through design

Hilti’s brand identity red was treated as a core design asset throughout the event. While delegates wore their Hilti corporate uniform, the colour was expressed across branded fencing, vehicle reveals, wayfinding and lighting accents, creating a strong sense of unity across the site. Encore’s creative approach anchored the experience visually, making the brand instantly recognisable at every touchpoint. This considered approach ensured the brand was ever present without overwhelming the space, reinforcing Hilti’s identity across both indoor and outdoor environments.

Designing impact with flexibility

Encore adapted the creative approach to align with Hilti’s objectives and budget while maintaining visual impact. Rather than relying on scale alone, the final design leveraged lighting, structure and spatial planning to deliver a high energy environment that supported live demonstrations and intuitive audience flow.

The gala dinner marked a complete shift in tone. Within a two hour turnaround, Encore transformed the conference space into a vibrant evening experience with a carnival inspired theme. Trapeze silhouettes, a circus tent backdrop, interactive carnival games and playful table styling elements such as popcorn and fairy floss created a sense of fun and celebration.

Sustainability in action

Sustainability was embedded into delivery through practical, considered ways. Pallets originally used to transport concrete blocks were repurposed as industrial styling elements during the event, then passed on to the marquee supplier for continued use.
Hilti retained key branding assets including the illuminated backdrop and branded perimeter fencing for future events, reducing waste and enabling reuse, extending the life of event materials beyond a single use.

The result

Feedback from Hilti and delegates was extremely positive, with particular praise for the professional AV, the smooth event delivery, and the visual impact of the gala dinner.
