Encore Event Technologies has been recognised as a Bronze Award recipient in the C&I Operator of the Year category at the 2025 Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards, marking the company’s first-ever entry as an audio visual provider in the awards program.
The recognition celebrates Encore’s long standing contribution to Fiji’s conference and incentive sector, acknowledging excellence in creative event delivery, technical capability, people development and community engagement.
With more than 20 years in the industry, Encore’s Fiji operation reflects a legacy built on experience, mentorship and continuity. The company is deeply committed to the local community and proudly supports grassroots sport and cultural initiatives, including partnerships with the Fijian Drua, the Somosomo Stags, and the Somosomo village, where the company has donated a sound system to support the village church and community gatherings.
Investment in people remains a cornerstone of Encore’s approach. Through Encore University and the Vulitara technical training program, the business continues to develop local talent, providing pathways for education, certification and long term careers in event technology.
Encore is also progressing its commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices, with initiatives focused on reducing waste and working towards zero cabling solutions, alongside broader environmental and governance goals across the Asia Pacific region.
Encore’s Regional Director of Event Technology, Rosy Managreve, said the recognition reflects the strength of the local team and the values that underpin the business.
“Being recognised with a Bronze Award in our first year entering as an audio visual company is something we’re incredibly proud of. This acknowledgement belongs to our Fiji team — their skill, dedication and care for the community are at the heart of everything we do.”
Tim Keeling, Regional General Manager (Fiji, New Zealand & Asia), said the award highlights Encore’s long term commitment to Fiji.
“This recognition reflects not just the events we deliver, but how we show up — investing in people, supporting the community and operating responsibly. Fiji is an important part of Encore’s Asia Pacific network, and we’re proud to continue contributing to the destination’s success.”
The Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards are regarded as the country’s premier recognition program, celebrating organisations that contribute to the strength, sustainability and reputation of Fiji’s tourism industry.
